Experience it for yourself
It is a spiritual transformation—making you a new creature in God.
In Acts 2:38-39, Apostle Peter preached that we can be freed from sin's eternal consequences by first repenting and being baptized in the name of Jesus Christ; and then Christ's Spirit (also called the Holy Ghost) would fill us and give us rest and a new life.
That is—the Promise.
Our mission is to: share this gospel promise to people wanting to get real with Jesus, equip them to thrive in their new lives with Him, and be a light of hope in our communities until He returns.
We'd love for you to join the church family. Services are on Sunday 10 AM and Tuesday 7 PM at 94-137 Leoleo Street, Waipahu. See you there!
What to expect
— First Church Hawaii Waipahu, a United Pentecostal Church —
Your arrival
When you arrive, one of the friendly greeters will welcome you and make sure you’re comfortable. Feel free to let them know if you have special needs, a prayer request, or have a question about the service.
Worship
After praying together for a few minutes, we welcome God’s presence with powerful singing and music during the worship time. This is an opportunity to focus on Jesus, thank Him for His blessings, and celebrate His greatness.
Sunday school
For children ages 4-12, the Sunday school teachers teach fun Bible lessons along with engaging activities. They’ll give your children an environment to learn about loving others, talking with God, and understanding His Word.
Anointed preaching
The preaching is a time to be encouraged and challenged by God’s Word. You'll receive an anointed message rooted in the Bible that deepens your walk with Jesus Christ. Once the preacher finishes, everyone is invited to come up to the front for a time of focused prayer and personal ministering.
We want you to feel welcomed into the church family and experience an impacting encounter with God.
Ministries
Let’s introduce you to Pastor Manny Lopez, his ministry team, and the ministries that will be impacting you and your family.
